Spark Aligners Cluj-Napoca
Spark is a clear aligner system — discreet orthodontics without visible brackets, with digital planning.
At BioEstetic Dent we compare Spark with Invisalign and fixed braces (Damon / metal / aesthetic) so you choose what is clinically right, not just popular.
What are Spark aligners
Spark uses clear aligners created from a digital setup. You wear each set for a number of days, then move to the next — the same principle as other aligner systems.
Spark material and protocol are designed for clarity and comfort. Indications remain medical: the case must suit aligners, and you must wear them almost all the time.
In Cluj-Napoca, at BioEstetic Dent, Spark is part of our modern orthodontics offer. Clinic orthodontists decide with you whether Spark, Invisalign, or fixed braces is the right path.
Who is Spark suitable for
- Patients who want discreet aligners
- Crowding and corrections compatible with aligners
- Motivated adults and teens who wear aligners daily
- Those deciding between Spark and Invisalign — we decide after evaluation
- People who prefer removing the appliance for meals
When Spark may not be the right choice
If the orthodontist considers required movements exceed what aligners deliver predictably, fixed braces (for example Damon) are recommended.
Without wear discipline, Spark (like any aligner) does not deliver the planned result. In such situations, fixed braces are often more realistic.
Spark advantages
Discreet appearance
Aligners are hard to see in conversation; suitable for daily life and professional settings.
Flexibility at meals
Remove aligners when eating; no typical fixed-brace restrictions on hard foods.
Plannable
Movements are scheduled digitally; check-ups verify adherence and progress.
Alternative to Invisalign
Depending on case and preferences, Spark may be the recommended option — we discuss it transparently at consultation.
Spark vs. Invisalign vs. Damon
Spark and Invisalign = removable aligners. Damon = fixed self-ligating braces. It is not a brand race: it is diagnostic fit.
Discretion + discipline → Spark or Invisalign. Fixed control / complex case → Damon or another fixed appliance.

How Spark treatment works
- 1
Orthodontic consultation
Diagnosis, photos, scan — we see whether Spark covers your goals.
- 2
Plan and aligner delivery
Digital plan is generated; you receive sets and wear / change instructions.
- 3
Monitoring
Periodic check-ups; we adjust if teeth do not keep pace with the plan.
- 4
Retainer
After completion, retention maintains alignment. Your orthodontist sets the protocol.
Caring for Spark aligners
Wear them almost all the time. Clean daily as your doctor recommended; store in the case when not in the mouth (not on a napkin — they are easily lost).
Tooth hygiene before putting aligners back is mandatory. Avoid colored drinks with aligners on teeth.
If an aligner no longer fits well or is damaged, notify the clinic — do not force it or skip sets.
Duration and Spark aligner cost in Cluj-Napoca
Duration is similar to other aligner treatments — often in the 12–24 month range, with large variation by case.
Price depends on complexity. Guidance on fees; exact offer after consultation with the orthodontist at BioEstetic Dent.
